○＜「ユー、何申す！」＞【満場一致】で決まったことに！


ジャ○ーズ事務所にて。今度デビューする新人ユニットの名前を決める会議をしています。ジャ○ー社長はいつもの口調で言います。

「ユーたちのユニット名が決まった。ユーたちの名前は『丹沢山脈』だ！」

もちろん新人は大反発。「いやですよ！そんなダサい名前！！！」

そこで社長、一言：

「ユーは何申しているんだ！役員会で満場一致で決まった名前なんだぞ！わがままは許さん！」

・・・結局彼らは「丹沢山脈」でデビューすることになってしまいました。

■語源■

unanimous の辞書初出は、1611年のこと。ラテン語 unanimus (of one mind)

が英語に入ってきたものです。単語構造は次のようになっています。


unus + animus


unus は one を表す単語です。 animus は mind の意味。「心が一つ」になっ

ているんですね。文字通り「満場一致」です。
